Many of these pieces use my RIG notation, a user-friendly and transparent improvisation interface (pieces using RIG have an * below). All scores have explanations of the relevant notations for that piece, but Dazzle Music publishes a complete treatment of the subject both as a booklet and as a pdf file. Solo instrument. The piece was composed for cello but is suitable for any instrument (violin, viola, double bass, all brass, most wind) whose
lower register is 'easy' of production and whose upper is 'strained'. Therefore not suitable for piano, tuned percussion etc. Length variable but about
